whilst waiting for the ambulance?
IE: if somebody went into cardiac arrest or was chocking or was delivering their baby would you be prepared to answer questions & put practical help for the patient in place before the ambulance arrived?
Take panic & hysteria of yourself out of it as they are trained to deal with that, do you think they would help over the phone or send an ambulance & move on to the next emergency call?

I have an eyelash that has become ingrown. You can see the eyelash, but a thin layer of skin has grown completely over it. I've tried to pick at it, but it is so tender my eyes start watering every time I touch it. Any suggestions (before I call the doctor in the morning)?

I must have scratched my face in my sleep last night because I woke up with a small cut. I would like it to heal before the weekend so I put Neosporin and a Band-Aid over it because I read that is the fastest way to heal a cut (keeping it moist). How long do I need to keep it covered for quickest healing?

Why does a mosquitos bite make you itch?

I recently have been getting alot of terrible mosquito bites and it made me wonder why a mosquito drawing your blood could turn into such a nasty itch!
Also, if you know of anything good to put on a bite, that would really help! Thanks!

My husband was installing a radio on a boat today and it was a bit more involved than he expected, so he had to do some drilling...and now he has fiberglass splinters in his hands and arms.
