I like the Benedryl stick. Benedryl is an antihistamine which would stop the itch and reduce swelling. My pharmacy sells a tube with one end having like a wick on it - sort of like those pens that you have to push down on to get the ink running. That works great.
Or, a cream, a salve with a low percentage cortizone. Cortizone is an anti-inflammatory and works really well, too.
I've read of a tea mixture that works well and is a more natural reliever.

i know when my kids use to bite i bit them back. bit the mosquito and he will stop, promise as for the bit you already have do not scratch it and a topical antihistamine. its hard to stop the little buggers but i know black clothing or dark clothing attract them.
