As you know, sunburn is a sign of sun damage. It is also a real burn & needs to be treated as such. Burns are some of the most painful injuries to the human body. I could go on & tell you how to prevent them but why shut the barn door when the horse is out. If aloe vera doesn't help, then go to the Dr. He will be able to help you more than any person on this forum. Everyone has their own remedies & they're all different. Keep in mind, no 1 remedy will work for everyone......Good Luck

when you put the aloe vera on did you move around after?
because what i found works best for really bad sunburn is to wear like loose fitting clothing and put aloe vera on the burn and then just lay down for awhile

Oh dear.

Well, have you tried vinegar to take out the sting? And drink lots of water: Part of the pain is that you've been quite literally baked and so are a bit dehydrated.

Some of your skin has been damaged, so it will take a while to heal. But the aloe will help it heal faster.

Good luck!

Call the doctor and see if he/she will call in a script of Silverdin. It is a burn cream that the burn hospitals use.
