I cut and washed some hot chili pepper at dinner time. I washed hands a lot of times. But I still have burning feeling on my hands. Is there any way to get rid of this kind of feeling on hand?

Thanks.

The gel from the leaf of the stem of the Aloe Vera plant should do the trick.

The "heat" in hot peppers is an oil called capsaicin that is in the membranes that join the seed to the fruit. Always remember to wear gloves the next time!

I don't know if this will help- but you might try soaking your hands in oatmeal. Oatmeal is good for removing various stings and itches, and might soak up the last of the oil that's causing the feeling.

Good luck!

Homie, whatever you do, dont beat the bishop, Im serious. Brotha, dont whack-a-mole, do NOT cuff the candle, do NOT play the skin flute. I would surely not pacify the peace pipe, do not stroke the joke, pump the puppet, squeeze Mr. Jingles, or pop-goes-the-weasel. It will burn like Rodney King, burn like a Chinese firecracker. It hurts like a mutha, worse than the other. So don't you dare touch the twinkie, fire the missile, or have Scotty beam you up.
