i just cut my thumb with razor accidently, and it keeps bleeding?

i put a little vasleine on it because i couldnt think of anything else, and it helped, anything else i can do?

neosporin...i dont have that right now, its a scar solution, right? i did put pressure on it though, and the bleeding has stopped

lol i know, im going to put a bandage on it, i wanted to know if i could put anything else on the cut before putting on the bandage

Run it under the tap for a few seconds to clean it, then apply direct pressure on the cut with a clean bandage or clean cloth for 5 minutes before looking to see if it's stopped bleeding. Don't keep peeking, wait the full five minutes before you check again. If it hasn't stopped by then, keep applying pressure

Put pressure on the cut until it stops bleeding. Get it cleaned out and then put some neosporin and a band aid on it.

wipe the meds off, apply direct pressure with a towel, and keep it clean. go to an ER if the bleeding doesn't stop within 20 minutes.

If it was a deep cut I would suggest some hydrogen peroxide so that it doesn't get infected.

Sounds silly, but put some black pepper on it. It's a natural clotting substance.

get a napkin or something and press on it (not too hard) for a while untill the bleeding stops
