This works and have done it several times. Start winding string thin as you can get, ( like butchers twine or dental floss ) from the tip of the finger slowly winding it up towards the ring tightly. Do this until you get to the ring. slide the ring back up the finger even further and use a tooth pick to stuff the end under the ring. Pull the ring back to the normal position. take the loose end from under the ring. now pull the string back towards the end of the finger. The spinning of the string and the compression of the finger by the string will help it to slide off.
Done right it works like a charm.

first try icing your hand and keep your hand above the level of your heart. after 15-20 minutes, use dish or hand liquid soap and soap up your hand.dont do this over the sink,as u may loose the ring. see if it slips off this way. crisco solid oil also is a try. if your finger, if at any time, is blue ,your going to have to cut off the ring or loose the finger.
some people have also tried using dental floss on the finger.wind it around to make your finger thinner and then pull the ring over the floss.again dont let the floss stay on too long.goodluck;)michele

anything slippery:
soap,
baby oil
vasiline
chap stick
rub it around your finger, try to slip it under the ring if possible... then try and slide the ring off in a twisting motion

also you can try sticking your finger in an ice bath to reduce the swelling that happens during the day (also try during the morning and not at night)

depending on the damage you don't mind happening to the ring, you can try and pull it off with pliers or go to a jewelry store and have them cut it off

good luck

try lubing your finger and the ring up with Vaseline and then kind of slowly twist and pull the ring at the same time. Try not to hurt yourself too much, though, because it can be a bit painful, depending on how stuck it is.

Rinse with cold water, ice if necessary. This will cause the tissue in the finger to contract.

Rub soap around it with hot water. Works wonders. Thats what everyone says. I've never heard anything else apart from soap.

have you tried oil or soap? If that doesn't work, a jeweler will cut it off for you...I had to have mine cut off. Don't think they even charge you anything....then you can have it re-sized and fixed later. You don't want to leave a too-tight one one...it will harm you finger eventually.

try soap and hot water, if that doesn't work, try lotion, or sticking it in a lot of REALLY COLD ice water. If all else fails, you may unfortunately need to get it cut off. Good luck!

1. saliva
2. dish soap
3. peanut butter
4. ring cutters =\ your local ER should have a pair

ps. only resort to #4 if it's bothering you.. otherwise you'll have to repair the ring

Is it stuck because you just got hitched or it is too small. Some cooking oil, soap, or cream should fix it up. get it sized bigger
