my left ear hurts really bad. i think it's an ear infection. should i go see someone or will it fix itself?

Please go to see your doc right away if not u could end up with a ruptured ear drum or worse a permanent deafness. ear aches dont clear themselves they need treatments with antibiotics and ear drops . please do this for the sake of your ear and your hearing...

Yes, I think that you should see your doctor. I had a problem with my left ear years ago because of a pimple that also caused an infection one time. It caused me a great deal of pain so that I couldn't sleep. I did go to the doctor and they gave me antibiotics to help with the problem.

An ear infection will not cure itself. You need antibiotics.

err... do you have any fever? do you normally use cotton buds to clear your ear? did you hit it or poke something in it? were you swimming? is it painful in certain positions or all the time?

if its an ear infection they normally heal by itself, but as the disease runs its course it'll probably get worse before it get's better... meaning it may perforate the ear drum (which will heal) or cause a MEGA headache...or... it MIGHT not get better and become worse, leading to the infection going deeper... so i think its better to see a doctor..
