Baking soda paste. Mix baking soda with a tiny amount of water to make a paste, put a small glob on and cover with a soft bandage. Or just use Caladryl or Benadryl lotion, typically used for those with poison oak or ivy, works well for reducing swelling in bee/ wasp stings. Ice packs help a great deal, roll up ice chunks or cubes in a damp washcloth and apply directly to the lump, or put it in a baggy of some type and apply to the sting. Should help reduce swelling and give you some relief. Most bug bites start to feel much better after a few days. Do not pick at it or touch the site too much, you don't want an infection. After a couple days, you should be able to expose the bite to fresh air which will help it dry up and heal.

First may I clear up a couple things. Both bees and wasps sting not bite. A bee stings once and leaves a stinger. A wasp doesn't leave a stinger and can sting repeatedly. There are a number of different things you can use:wash with soap and water, ice for the swelling, baking soda and water paste, or baking soda, vinegar and water paste, slice of onion, you can make an aspirin paste, unseasoned meat tenderizer past, tobacco and a little water held on with a band-aid or just apple cider vinegar. I hope you find this information helpful.

As the others said, make sure the stinger is out and clean it.
If you have any chloraseptic spray for sore throats, spray some on the sting. It will take away the sting almost immediately. My hubby told me it has one of the same ingredient that's found in bee sting kits. I still didn't believe him lol until I was bit by something one day.
My toe (which was bit or stung) became red and irritated immediately and then started swelling, so I gave my hubby's remedy a try and it worked wonderfully.

wash the sting area with copious amounts of warm soapy water then wash the bite site with household ammonia, scrubbing vigorously with a sponge to get under the skin flap to the poison.
Make a solution of baking powder, meat tenderizer, and ammonia, i.e. 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon meat tenderizer, and 1 cup ammonia. Scrub this solution into the wound.
The ammonia and baking soda return the body's acid/base balance to normal neutralizing most of the effect of the poison injected into the skin by the insect. The meat tenderizer's enzymes help break down the protein aiding the solution in neutralizing the poison.

First of all, they are STINGS, not bites.
Check to see if the stinger is in the skin, tweeze it out if it is. Then make a paste like the above answer of meat tenderizer & water on the injury.
I have also heard of a paste of baking soda & water.
