I was stung by a bee on Saturday. There was a small welt were I was stung, hurt like heck all day. Sunday I developed a saucer size red spot were the welt was. It's Tuesday and it still red, and the spot itches. There is no stinger stuck in the spot. How long will this red spot and itching last?

No puss (yuck!) thank goodness!

Benadryl...I took one as soon as I found out I got stung...it helped with the initial itching and I can't take one at work, I'd be Zzzzzing right now!!

Take one BENADRYL® Allergy tablet every four hours, and that should relieve the itching.

does it have pus around it? If so you might need to pop it to get the infection out.
