General Health Care - December 2007

I keep having occasional pain in the right side of my chest close to my side. Im sure it's not heart related and yes I will call the doctor but in the mean time..... what could this be? It is a sharp pain that is sudden and goes away quickly. It does not hurt worse when I breathe.

Sometimes at night I start getting really bad pains in my stomach and it hurts so bad that I have to get up and throw up. After I throw up, I feel fine and I am able to go back to bed and get a good night's sleep. This happens pretty often. What is causing this to happen?

My blood pressure is 116/81 and my pulse is 73. Is my blood pressure high or low, and is my pulse high or low? I have trouble with my blood pressure all the time. I have bipolar,depression, asthma, high blood pressure and low pressure at times. I am not a diabetic as far as I know. I'm thinking about being checked for diabeties when I go back to the doctor.

Right now, I would just like to know whether my blood pressure and pulse rate is normal, or if it is high or low.

For about a week now, I have been feeling like I'm going to pass out ALL the time, when I'm standing, walking, driving... I dont have insurance and am nervous about going to the doctor. I'm sure they'll want to take blood and I'm TERRIFIED of needles and usually pass out when I'm near them.

I have prehypertensive blood pressure and extremely high trigylcerides. Would this contribute to the problem? This has just started happening and I haven't changed anything such as diet. I HAVE been exercising a little more but nothing too extreme.

I have been getting really bad leg pain lately.. It is mostly in my lower back and upper legs. It hurts quite a bit, and it only eases when I get up and walk around or elevate them? I am trying to make a doctor's appoiontment, but haven't gotten through yet. Any ideas on what could be wrong with me?

At night when im sleeping i keep waking up and notice that i am clenching my teeth..
Why is this happening.
its the same feeling when i take ecstacy , then when i go home and go to sleep i find myself clenching my teeth in my sleep..
same as now..
(i only recently went on antidepressants)
when i used to take ecstasy i wasnt on them
are antidepressants like ecstasy?

I accidentally touched a grill when it was still hot and now I have redness on the thumb, sharp pain on the thumb, and a small white spot.

I have seen the doc and he has given me anti-inflammatories two days ago but I am in quite severe pain especially in the morning on waking. It is really uncomfortable but eases off towards the evening.It has been building up for 2/3 weeks and the only time I feel ok is by sitting really still-hmmn!! I want to get back to normal. Any words of advice and will it last for ages? I have been off work all week as it has been very bad.

Describe what it feels like for you to have a hangover.

Mine is particularly bad if I have a severe hangover.

My head is pounding and the whole world seems grey, I am very jumpy and I feel like I see things out the corner of my eye, like mini hallucinations. I feel like I have no energy and all I want to do is laze around but I also feel misery and depression on a scale that I never feel otherwise, I start having doubts about myself and feeling lonely and self pitying. I cringe and have remorse about things I did or said the night before and I just want the day to end. I cannot sleep well the next night even.

As a result of these hangovers I do not drink much as you can imagine. Anyone else have hangover this bad or is it just me?

I have a water infection at the moment last time i had 1 it was kidney stones which went dorment but this time round i have got pains in my chest could this be related..... its not a sharp pain its more like a dull acre that is really uncomfortable and i can only feel like when i am sitting down.....ANY IDEAS...

The last 3 weeks. I try to fall asleep but my calves feel like I need to stretch. It is awful I have the feeling in them to stretch and I keep stretching them but nothing helps. It has cost me and my boyfriend countless hours of sleep. Ive tried Restless Legs, Bengay, and even Sleeping Pills. I have no insurance coverage. Do I have a vitamin or mineral problem? If so what am I lacking? Please someone help I need to sleep again.

At around 7 oclock we went for drinks. She had three different drinks. The last drink was at 10. We got home at 130 and she went straight to sleep. She slept for about two hours and then woke up. She drank some water and began vomiting. It's been like this for 3 hours now. She can't hold any liquids down otherwise she starts up again. Is this normal?

over the past 2 months I have had "heavy feelings" in my chest, shoulders, and arms, and upper back. Doctors did blood tests and ekg and stress test and nothing heart related. They call it muscular skeletal but no further explanation. yesterday shoulders were very heavy and sore, later int hte evening it went away. After that I was int he kitchen and stepped back and almost stepped on my baby! I i was able to step over her and everything was fine. But I got an immediate rush of those sore feelings to my shoulders, chest and arms. After I calmed down it went away - any thoughts? Is this stress? I dont feel stressed!.

I think I have insomnia! Sometimes I will wake up at 8am and cant get to sleep until like 5 am the next day and still it takes me forever to get to sleep! I stress about school alot. ok so i was walking home and i felt this sharp pain on my and then went i got home it kinda fell off. it was staying on by a littile bit of skin so i cliped some of the toe nail and put a band aid on the nail to protect it is it gonna be ok?
