The last 3 weeks. I try to fall asleep but my calves feel like I need to stretch. It is awful I have the feeling in them to stretch and I keep stretching them but nothing helps. It has cost me and my boyfriend countless hours of sleep. Ive tried Restless Legs, Bengay, and even Sleeping Pills. I have no insurance coverage. Do I have a vitamin or mineral problem? If so what am I lacking? Please someone help I need to sleep again.

uhhhh.... no. It's little nerve "hiccups" that give that sensation of "crawling" or leg pain. You may be educated, but not in this area.

"Try taking a couple of magnesium tablets before bed.

Magnesium is nothing to mess around with. Magnesium relaxes smooth muscle, decreases blood pressure, and could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

If I were you, I'd get a job with medical coverage and see a doctor or get some sort of help. You need a head to toe exam to determine what state of health you are in the first place, which cannot be done on Yahoo Answers.

I have it too. My symptoms have never included muscle aches, but I'm sure that's one. It usually doesn't wake me, it only wakes who's in bed with me. In the evenings though before bed, my skin just feels like it's crawling. The only thing I can do to stop it is to get up and walk. Thankfully, I have noticed that, in my case, it is exacerbated by stress. The less stressed I am, the less symptoms I have.

You might try some potassium before you go to the Dr. and see if that helps. Lack of potassium will give you leg cramps.

NOTE: Victor Bout doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.
