It has burned when I urinate for about a week, but the burning has lessened. Now I have a throbbing pain in my sides towards the back. I never get sick, and when I do I always end up spending money for nothing, plus I hate doctors. I do not have a fever or feel like vomiting. The pain is not that bad, its just frustrating. Is it worth going to the doctor for?

I got into a car accident yesterday- it was a crap car, i hydroplaned becuse I did not have ABS brakes, and nw it's totaled- and today my neck kindof hurts/is sore.
would it still be ok to go for a run, or to the gym? I don't want to make it worse.

Im wondering if anyone has knowledge on head injuries and the relationship to having hallucinations and illusions. I was in a car accident and started having hallucinations such as seeing cob webs, smoke rising to the ceiling, specks and bubbles across field of vision, touch sensations, movement in dark rooms, and seeing the shapes of human or animal forms in dark rooms.

Okay, so I have pretty bad insomnia, it's about 3 in the morning, and I can't sleep. I've already taken Tylenol PM and it hasn't made me any tireder at all. I was wondering if you think it's really stupid to just stay awake all night, and catch a few hours of sleep in a long car ride tomarrow. Oh and I have a little bit of a virus.
Please help?

Is it true?

Also, since death is instantaneous, it doesn't hurt the people who jump, right??

Note: just a morbid question.

I've been having back aches two months ago and the pain hasn't recided at all. My back only hurts after I've bent my back, (when I've straightened it out). The pain isn't sharp nor is it a dull ache. Hard to explain, it just hurts.

An example is when I want to sleep. Our backs are naturally arched so when I go to sleep I kind of straighten out my back. Then nearly my whole back (mostly on my lower back) will hurt but the pain slowly fades after a while.

I doubt I have osteoporosis. It might be a muscle tear but it has been two months. My mum says she has similiar problems as I (the back ache) and she has went for a full body checkup including x-rays but the doctor could not find anything wrong.

The worst part about this is that I'm only 16 years old. I don't want to go through my whole life with a back ache. Please help!

This is what i have used to cure my lower back pain.

Stand up with your legs together, hands by your side and clench all your muscles, your thigh stomach and buttock muscles etc hard, then place your hands on your hips and try to touch your elbows together behind your back while arching your back,if you feel or hear your tendans/muscles move/click do not worry that is normal.

If you are bending over and you feel your lower back you must clench your stomach and buttock muscles, but it is best to bend your knees and keep your back straight when ever you can, but this is not always possible.

When your sitting down or walking hold in your stomach and clench and your buttocks, this makes your back straight and supports your back properly.

You can either do this when you need to for imediate relief or you can keep doing this to increase your muscles and adjust your posture wich will get rid of the problem for good.If your muscles are really weak you may need to do this as an exercise several times a day, but start off slow and build it up.

If you need any help at all please get in touch and if your doctor has told you somthing else you need to do please listen to them.

a knne replacement, she was taking 10 milligrams of this pill twice a day and recently we noticed that she was acting as if she were in a catatonic state, she has taken a fall in our apartment and when the paramedics took her to the hospital one of them asked if my mom was taking any meds,so my brother showed the paramedic all her meds includding the oxycondone,as soon as this emt saw the dosage he was shocked ,imagine ,taking 10 milligrams of this drug twice a day! my brother said that if he took that dosage twice a day he would be on the floor! and god knows how many times my mother has refilled the prescription! her internist prescribed these for the pain of reconstructive surgery that was done on her knee this past may. could we sue the doctor for giving her an addictive drug which caused a fall that resulted in a hairline fracture of her hipbone?

i got hurt during soccer tryouts and a sports med teacher said that i might have hurt the tendon on my patella. she adviced me to see a doctor. i want to know if i could just go to a chiropractor instead, because it's more convenient for me. so is a chiropractor almost as good as a doctor when it comes to these issues?

A few years ago I jammed my 3rd and 4th vertabre in my lower back. Now I have occassional back pain, but when I do it's so bad that I can barely stand up. I have been to the doctor, and chiropractor for it. Can someone tell me give me some advice what more I can do for it, besides workout to strengthen the muscles around it, and take medication to mask the pain?
