Im wondering if anyone has knowledge on head injuries and the relationship to having hallucinations and illusions. I was in a car accident and started having hallucinations such as seeing cob webs, smoke rising to the ceiling, specks and bubbles across field of vision, touch sensations, movement in dark rooms, and seeing the shapes of human or animal forms in dark rooms.

Head injuries can cause hallucinations. What you relly need to do is see a doctor pronto. Don't sit around and wait for this to go away. It might not. Definitely see a doctor right away.

It's definitely possible. I used to work with people with TBI. The most common of the things you listed were touch sensations or rather alterations in their sense of touch. One person described the water from the shower as feeling like needles. Others had decreased sense of hot and cold, others numbness and/or tingling. Some people had olfactory hallucinations but these were usually realted to seizure aura. Please let your doctor know this if you haven't.

Yes, they're called doctors. You should really go see one. The symptoms could be signs of a pending aneurism or blood clot. Don't underestimate the seriousness of this. This isn't a question for people on yahoo, it is a reason to see a doctor.
