General Health Care - January 2007

I got a pretty nasty cut on my leg a week ago tonight and it's still pretty nasty. It still open but on the inside it looks healed after I washed the crusty puss away. There's inflamation around the cut and it's a tad painful when touched or streched when I move my leg.

Please help me. I'm a single teenager living by himself in a strange town.

Because it makes me sick. Almost always when I have my period I have to take a pill(not birth control, some other prescribed) to stop the cramps, because they are so bad. But I'm not talking about the cramps.
I'm talking about if I don't take that pill, the pain gets worse and worse, until I throw up. Usually a couple of times.
I used to think it was connected with my cramps, but there was a time I had a headache, didin't do anything about it, and was sick.
So, Is my body just have low pain tolerance, or what?

He went to the doctor (neurologist) and they took lots of cat scans and x-rays. Said there was nothing wrong.
He has headaches all the time any more and his neck hurts like hell.

It's dull until I try to move my head in any direction other than like straight forward, then its like a sharp pain. The only way I can think to describe it is how your legs feel after a long day of walking, and then someone like grabbing and pulling at you. I'm not sure but I think its swollen too. I have been stressed this week. I am fighting with my mother-in-law, since Thanksgiving and I had to plan a huge event that happened last night, so I was stressed all week from that and when I got home after the event, I fainted.

He says the nerve is pinched on the left side. I do not know what the problem is I can deal with the back ache but I can not stand the ache in my leg it is constant. What if any exercises will relieve this. I asked my doc if I would still be able to ride my horse he said he doesn't see why not I have DDD from L1 to L5S1, with multiple buldges. At one point I could not walk for three days and my biggest fear is that will injure and never walk again. Doc say NO RESTRICTIONS released to full duty. Is that because it is comp should I persue a second opinion or do you guys think he is being real?

my back recently has a large "knot" in it. i no i didnt hurt my spine or anything but my back muscles hurt really bad and it hurts to bend over to one side or forward or back becuase thne it will cramp up REALLY bad. its extremly poain ful did i pull a muscle? what can i do to ease the pain? thanks
