Just to clairify, The reason I'm LOOKING for a scrip for LORTAB is that it's the only thing that my doctor, who I've tried about 100 OTHER scrips with, says he will not perscribe for migraine. I understand the whole "wanting" a certain drug thing, but I'm looking for an occasional migraine treatment. Some of the other scrips had my head exploding or my body itching, or both... I get migraines from neck tension and sometimes I don't have the time (or $) for physical therapy... would 4 pills a month create an addict, or is my "doctor" just milking my insurance for all it's worth? I've tried mussle relaxers, but they just put me to sleep, and I can't afford that with (2) sub 5 yr old children that want their dad... How do you fight the "drug-seeker" mentality?

Like anyone else who requires a controlled, Class III medication to manage moderate to sever pain; see you doctor.

If you have used or obtained Loratab from your doctor this shouldn't be a major problem if the medication is indicated. Odd you didn't use the terms Vicodin or hydrocodone. I mention this as using the brand name term Loratab just suggests to me that you have used that specific brand before.

Why Lortab? Seems you might be an abuser or street seller to me!

Talk to your physician about your pain. Be aware that he will choose the medication that he thinks you need, and not what you want. Doctors will usually start with the milder pain medications, unless his diagnosis warrants a stronger med.
