About two days ago I got a knot in my leg while swimming. Eventually I was able to physically rub the knot out but the pain that came with it has not gone away. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks for your answers in advance.

It's been very cold where I live and my lips have been sufforing. I have put chapstick on them and even some carmex. They still are chapped and cracked. Does anyone know how to help my lips get back into kissable shape? Any home remedies are welcome.

I took 800 milligrams for two years out of desperation to help with my depression. It is also supposed to effect the joints. Now, 3 years since stopping the sam-e I've started having bone pain my doctors can't find a reason for. I wonder if the Sam-e might be responsible in any way?

Instead of a nice little hole over the years (i am only 25) they have been streched down and when I wear small earings they` don't look nice and tehy hang weird. I have had them peirced for almost 20 years can I just get them percied again directly above the old hole? Will the old holes eventually close? How long will it take? Or any other advice you can offer

I get pressure like pains in the back lower left part of my head most of the time. I also get sharp pains that last a few seconds, also on the left side of the head. I also seem to get alot of sores on my scalp could this be a cause for some of my head aches. I have been to the doctors three times about my headaches they don't think its anything major, and they have never had a cat scan or MRI. I also do not have health insurance. Should I worry and go to the hospital and have more test done.

Every once in awhile my upper or lower lips feels a little numb..Especially when drinking a cold or hot beverage..We live in a very cold climate but are indoors alot could this just be dry lips associated with climate?I also kind of in the habit of licking my lips quite frequently . He works out on elliptical trainer, treadmill, or lifts weights and he's okay. Here's the problem. He plays hockey maybe twice a week and after he's done he is coughing for about 2 hours afterward. It's a dry cough. He and I are just wondering why this happens. Might it have something to do with asthma?

I started feeling sick yesterday. Today I have a fever of 102, a really sore throat...and my bodies aching like crazy. So obviously I probably have the FLU. But I have RSD...so I'm always real ache...and I am extremly oversenstive. My legs are so sore....I can barely walk today. I can barely sleep cuz the pains so bad, and even just the clothes touching me hurts. I already took two advils, so I dont know what to do to relieve the constant pain. Please anyone with RSD or fibromyalgia(cuz I have both)...I need some pain reducing techniques. Also any home made remedies for my congestion and headache would be nice. Please help I'm in so much pain.

Could this have any affect on my growth? I always sleep around 8-10 hours a night. I think I am around the average height (5"4) for my age (14) all though I don't know exactly. I'm fifteen in May. I do quite a lot of exercise each day, walking mainly for a couple of hours each day, and I do stretching before I go to bed too. I'm already taller than my mother! But want to be at least 5"7. I eat a very good balanced diet as well. But I'm really, really, really worried that this going to bed plate could have squandered my chance to grow even though I do sleep 8-10 hours a night! I am adamant that I am going to go to bed much earlier from now on, but have these late nights ruined my growth completely?? Please only reply if you Know, and thanks for any replies that I do get!

I'm a huge fan of soccer who got injured a couple months ago. At first, I was having some patella tendonitis principles accompained with shinsplints but it wasn't until last November when I twisted my knee by false-stepping on a pothole located in the field. After the audible pop that I heard coming from my knee that day; I haven't being able to run like I used to. Does anybody know about some therapy?

Two years ago my sister developed a skin rash that spread from the outer part of her right hand to about two inches above her wrist. At first the rash was very itchy, and had the appearance of a "weeping, reddish kind of rash" but within the last several months it has dried up and stopped itching. Shehas been to several dermatologists but they all give her very expensive creams and other medications which have done no good at all. She even had a biopsy taken, but they found nothing. We are from a small town on the east coast.. We are looking for a specialist. even if we have to go to New York. (No other part of her body is affected.)(She was hospitalized when all of this first happened on 3 different occasions! The last incorrect diagnosis was something like "sebhorric (sp) dermatitis" But the last two dermatologists said that wasn't the correct diagnosis.They too were unable to diagnose this very strange rash.)
Does anyone PERSONALLY know of a specialist in the field of dermatology
