I used one of those Kiosk blood pressure machines at a local pharmacy and put my arm in the cuff and tested. It said that my Systolic is 130 over 88 diastolic. WHat does this mean? Someone told me that 88 was above normal. If it was, why would that happen and how can I prevent that?

...your care, like in many other countries, was prioritized based on your age, existing conditions, and care needed? In other words, if you found a cancerous lump on your skin, you might have to wait months to be seen if your over 60. Or, if you are already deemed high risk, like an aids patient, you may be put on a long waiting list.

Like any many other countries with Universal Care, you really have no say in the doctor you might be assigned either. Is it worth it to you?

Universal health care is a good idea on the surface, but the real issue is high demand and limited resources. I'm really not sure I like the idea the more I look at the practical implications. Besides, if you have an emergency, any ER is by law required to attend to you -- the illegal immigrants are very familiar with this. So what will universal health care really solve? What problems will it introduce? Are they worth it to you?

i have been driving a tractor trailer for the past 10 years and a few years ago i went to my doctor due to some severe shoulder pain and he told me that i had tendonitis my question is... is that even possible? i do alot of shifting through out the day and getting in and out of the truck alot during the day. when this problem first started it was in my right shoulder and now it is in my left shoulder during the winter months is when it tends to flare up sometimes its in my right shoulder and other times its in my left........ of course this time round its bugging me in both shoulders making it hard for me to work and drive my truck for a living... so again i ask is this possible for me to have tendonitis?

crying. It's like my shoulders get locked and I have to have my hubby throw them over my head to break them free. Them same is starting in both wrists. I have been on anti-inflamitories and no help. In the mornings when I wake it's like there is a numb-muscle weakness in my joints its hard to lift my coffee cup.Once I get moving and about the house the pain and weakness almost subsides. I have tested negative for MS and Lupus . The pain is so excruciating and I'm a woman and only 37 years old. What could be going on?? Anyone with similar symptoms? The doctor just tells me to take an anti-inflamatory. It seems alot worse now the weather has turned colder. I need some type of relief here.PLEASE!!
