I won't give you a lecture, even though I never advocate self piercing.

The easiest way to heal a piercing is with a solution of warm saltwater. Soak the piercing in a solution of 1/4 teaspoon of NON IODIZED seasalt in 8 ounces of warm water twice a day.

DO NOT use peroxide or rubbing alcohol. Right on the label it says these are TOPICAL antiseptics. Alcohol and peroxide are very strong astringetnts which means they dry tissue and can damage healing tissue further impeding the healing process.

I guess u know how foolish that was by now! The most important
thing is to keep it sanitized, so with cotton baton & Rubbing Alcohol soak the cotton as well as you can and hold it it there, if
puss starts to form try peroxide you should see foam coming out
that's the infection. Personally, I would go see a Dr. and get the proper cream to put in it or you could end up with a huge holes in
r ears, 60% hearing loss like me!

You will be o.k. It will probably be sore for some time. It would have been if you had gone to a professional. If you have an earring in, make sure you keep twisting it so it won't get stuck. You can get some antibiotic cream to keep on the area. Don't take out the earring for a LONG time or you will never get it back in....like for months.
