that's too bad...i guess it might be the flu...but see if you have a fever...if you don't watch to see the colour of your vomit/bowel movements - if yousee any black in you vomit (like coffee grounds) or black stool go to emerg - it might be gastritis which is very uncomfortable...i know...try pepto bismul and see if it releaves it - you the pain is too much to take go see a clinic doctor or an emerg doctor...you'rre body is trying to tell you something - not eating while you're sick isn't that dangerous...but it'simportant that you get liquids into you - like the gingerale...

Its probably the flu (real flu can take a few weeks to get over) You should not be waiting this long to see a doctor. You must see another doctor. You run the risk of dehydration and electrolyte imbalances that can cause cardiac problems, kidney problems among others... Three weeks is a while. I'd see a doctor ASAP. I'm sure your doctor has someone covering for him. Call his service or go to an ER or walk in place.

Without jumping to any far fetched conclusions.....it sounds a lot like gastroenteritis (stomach flu).

Ideally you should see a doctor to get some blood work and rule out the serious things like hepatitis, ulcer, illeus, etc.

In acute gastroenteritis we usually put an IV in (cause they are vomitting and dehydrated), then keep them NPO (eating nothing) for a couple days, start back slowly on liquids, then to soft foods, then discharge home.

Don't eat cheese, or spicy foods, or salads.....skip a couple meals, just drink WATER, then slowly start eating soft foods like YOGURT which help replenish normal gut flora, move onto soft baby foods like apple sauce, mashed potatoes, etc. Then on 3rd day start off with safe solids, like a crackers or carrots.

That is if you want to fly on your own.....but at this point, it sounds like it's definately worth your time to visit an urgent care clinic....they are pretty slow on Friday afternoons :)

you would not have the flu for this long. if your stomach is hurting that bad. how can you eat pizza? you will dehydrate if the diarrhea persist. if it is a virus it will run its course. could be a virus that you got right after the flu. but not sure.
