General Health Care - September 2006

I been wearing reading glasses now for 3 years,since i started using a computer(words online were too small for me to see) well i use the 6 hours on computer and 2 hours reading a day.Now when i don't use the my vision is blurry,and when i wake up in the morning i have small headaches.Is it the glasses or something else?

As a working adult, i reach home at 8-9pm everyday.
If I jog, my dinner could be very late (maybe 11pm). then followed by sleep. :(

If I take dinner first, I could jog immediately after dinner. It means I can only jog on weekends... :(

I take about 6 different medications for various different physical conditions. I'm sure they play a big factor in my heart rate of about 120-130 resting.

I do exercise and my highest heart rate is about 150 when exercising.

I'm just wondering what (if any) damage I could be doing to my heart by having such a high resting heart rate. I cannot change my medications, and I'm exercising. I'm a little overweight 215lbs @ 6'1" and am trying to eat healthy.

i wrote about this problem like a month ago on here , about the fact im getting my tonsils out soon ....and well the operation is on tuesday ...and im really getting scared i knw i should'nt be , but me and injections do not go together and im really afraid about the op ...i knw its a simple procedure but i just need some relief tips on how to feel less scared ..and i wanted to knw ..is it ok if i eat crisps and sandwiches after the operation because at my pre-assesment appoinment they said i had to ..but im not sure

I've been sick for a week now, which I know isn't uncommon for a cold, but I've formed a deep, hacking cough and chest and throat pains. I started out with a stuffy, phlegmy nose and air passage, which I usually get with a cold, along with headaches and a cough. After about four days, the stuffiness, phlegm, and headaches have gotten a little better, but the cough has gotten worse. I went back to work yesterday and started getting sweats and chills off and on, and the cough is getting more and more painful, not only in my throat (which I'm sure is do to rawness), but in my chest and, what feels like my lungs.

I have no insurance, so I'd feel silly going to my doctor and wasting so much money over a cold...can anyone spare some advice?
