In fasting there is no supply of fresh glucose to the blood and whatever glucose is present, it is utilized and this causes depletion of glucose in the blood. Although there is some supply of glucose from the breakdown of glycogen in the liver, but this cannot cope with the demand.

It would be lower. However, some doctors check for diabetes by having the patient fast for 12 hrs then they check their blood sugar.

Also check her diet. If she's eating a lot of carbs, starchy vegetables, sugary things including fruit, that's helping to keep her glucose high. If you cut out all the carbohydrates and sweets and limit her fruit to 1 small one per day (and not the juice, the whole fruit is best), see if her number goes down a little. She should also up her daily activity levels which would help too. If she's not willing to try these, then insulin is the only solution. Tea will help but not enough to do her much good--301/367 is way high.

it would be lower as you are not eating to maintain or gain those sugars although fasting was designed to conserve the amount of food among the people that others would be able to eat and or have food for later as you can survive longer without food than most people think because they eat constently and dont space their meals apart as long as they are able to this was also designed as a cleansing act of the heart to remove the unconsiderate behaviors and allowing the meals you would have consumed to be there for those in more need than your current status and this was not to be only once of the year but at any time that you are considerably fed enough to endure a while without for others to receive and/or that you would have that supply for later and that the body would not become excessively over weight to such extents that you are less able to cleanse your body or work yet also to not overly practice fasting in such that you do not have the nutrients to fight sicknesses although the one time yearly was in the tenth month to signafy that a tenth of the harvest was given to the services of gods love that such charities could be shared among those less fortunate and in need
