Jogging every other day or so would be your best health habit. It IS hard with your late working schedule though and no fun to run on a full stomach! Can you run in the mornings (or over your lunch break) instead? If not, I recommend taking a snack to work and eating it about 6-6:30 p.m. on the days you plan to jog when you get home. Something not too heavy or hard to digest, like an energy bar, a banana, a bowl of cereal, half of a peanut butter sandwich, or some peanut butter or cheese crackers. You will figure out what gives you enough energy and does not upset your stomach when you try some different things. This will give you some "gas" in your "tank" so that you have the best energy to run right when you get home, and then you can eat a light supper after the run, which should include some carbs and some protein for muscle recovery (like chicken and rice, spaghetti, or a taco). Best of luck!

It is not advisable to jog immediately after a meal as it is not healthy for your own body.
Secondly, if you are going to take dinner very late (around 1100 pm), you can sleep immediately you may have to wait for around 1 to 2 hrs before sleeping as the food need to be digested.
What I suggest is that maybe you can wake up earlier and jog in the morning ,maybe around 6 or 630 am. Then you can leave for work.

Is it possible for you to get up early and jog? Many people think they will be too tired for the rest of the day, but a morning jog can often energize you. It also won't interfere with your evening meal schedule.
