It's not the reading glasses... I hate to be the one to tell you this, my friend, but it's called aging.

Normally our two eyes are of different reading degrees.
You need to have your glasses custom made so that when you read your vision is balanced, and the glasses have to be changed after some time as the degrees increase.
You will strain your eyes if they are unbalance which could result in headaches.
If you spend hours looking at the monitor, this could be a cause for headache due to the glare.
Headaches can be caused by many problems so it is difficult to pin point the exact cause. You can try to sift the possiblility by making good the possible cause (like first - making a new pair of custom-made reading glasses).
Or as I read in the "Mind Your Body" magazine, mix a cup of isotonic drink with a cup of plain water and drink it (which I did in the evening after work). It has helped me.

I use them all the time as they are necessary because I do a lot of computer work and reading. But you should have an eye examination to make sure you get the correct strength.

If your reading glasses aren't prescribed to you, you shouldn't wear them. You should see an eye doctor.

Your glasses may not be the right degrees for you.
Your headache may be caused by overstraining your eyes and getting insufficient rest afterwards.

i thinks so......since i started wearing glasses... my eyesight power has increased gradually and alarmingly. but in your case reading glasses are a necessity if you have high astigmatism. make sure your specs are lower in your eyesight power as well as it you will not feel dizzy when you wear it.
