I am absence from work for 2 days in the last two weeks. But i dont have an MC to cover my absence. What should i do? Where can i get an MC? Should i forge a fake MC?

Last week I vacationed in Tennessee with my parents. We didn't do much hiking or anything but we did climb up a thing called Clingman's Dome...it's 1/2 mile and like a straight incline, you go up 330 feet while climbing it...Anyway, afterwards my left leg was sort of sore, which I expected. But yesterday I was folding clothes and took a step back and stepped into a door knob on a very tender area of my back (lower back where the "holes" are) it hurt VERY bad and since then my whole left leg has been so tender, like all of the skin is rubbed off. It hurts to sit on a bed or chair or in a car, to have pants on, it hurts all the way down to my heel of my foot, so that it hurts to walk as well. Does anyone know what could have caused this or if there might be anyhing wrong?? I don't want it to be some serious thing and me wait till my leg is paralyzed........Thanks.

Does anyone else have a problem swallowing food and drink and find it increasingly worse when people are around.. If so, what have you done about it and what is the outcome? My son ( 3 years) lost his right index finger in an accident. I broke both my wrists in a motorbike racing accident at Cadwell Park 6 weeks ago. I only do it as a hobby and would like to get back on. However my right wrist has very limited movement. Does anyone know any exercises I can do to regain the movement. Seriously. No stupid answers

Please base your response on either personal experience or your own perception of chiropractors (no names please). If you are a chiropractor, please do not answer. Are these "guys" know-it-alls? Do they really help you? What sort of education do they have - medical degrees or what? Are they really doctors? Do they have you go a million times without getting better? I'd like an honest opinion either positive or negative. What questions should I ask if I decide to go to one? Are they worth the money? Would you go back a second time?

I would like to hear from other people that are currently in or have been in a test program for the drug PTI-821 or Remoxy or hear from others that have been on pain killers for chronic pain for a long time.

My question really is, what has made you deal with chronic pain in a successful way, even if it is something other than drugs.

I have chronic lower back pain and of course the nerve pain that comes with it.
