sometimes...it depends on the anti-depressant...if that is a main concern of yours, then when you speak with your doctor about going on medication, mention that. she will probably put you on something like wellbutrin which often leads to decreased appetite and weight loss (whereas some of the others may actually increase appetite and weight gain...some people undereat when they are depressed)

some anti deppresants are appetite suppressants, but you mostly just have to suck it up. If your craving something sweet try fresh fruit it worked for me. also increase your exercise time and get outside and enjoy the day. This is NOT BS

None worked for me. They're different for everyone though. Some cause loss of appetite while others don't.
