hi there, my mum dropped somehing on her foot and a couple of days later she has swelling and redness. the pain persisted so she wen to A & E after around 2 weeks. it has now been a week since she went and they told her she had tendonitis. however the symptoms are still persisting and she has used ice and anti inflammatorys what can you suggest??????

Ever since I was 7, I get strep throat at least 3 times a year and sore throats on top of those. I'm 22 and I just had strep for the fourth time this year. None of my doctors have ever mentioned getting a tonsillectomy and when I asked about it said that they don't always work. Every time I get strep I end up out of school/work for a week. Should I push for the surgery?

my friend is really sick and she doesn't know why.. she has been throwing up everything she has eaten even chicken broth and saltines. and she feels like poop and she doesn't know why! also she has little red bumps on her body and they look like chicken pocs but shes not itchy at all what should she be doing to get better? preferably as soon as possible because school starts tomorrow and i don't think it would be a good idea for her to miss the first day of school but if shes still sick i don't want her to go.

I may have torn my medial meniscus and I find out the results of the MRI later today. If you tore your meniscus, what were your symptoms? I have a hard time bearing weight on my leg and it's really hard straightening it. Was this the case for you?

I've had severe back pain for about a year now, I've had blood tests, X-rays that come back normal. My Dr has never called saying I need to come in to discuss results. I got an MRI done, and a couple of days later, I got a call saying the Dr wanted to see me to discuss the results...I think that means they actually may have found something. What do you think?

My right and sometimes my left hip clicks when i walk. not all the time but most of it. It started after it was randomly hurting really bad. the clicking doesnt hurt and it never hurts anymore, but im worrried about it.

when my dad went to the ER few months ago for irregualr BP they didnt charge him extra for the ambulance...and we have the same insurance plan. Also anyone know how i can find out asap if ill be charged extra for the ambulance...the company said it needs a month to process the case and it goes in front of a board to determine how big of an emergency it was when deciding to charge me for the ambulance.

years ago I suffered with repetitive strain injury rsi. Although it has gone, many years later I am now suffering with a painful wrist. The pain came on all of a sudden. This was about 3 or 4 months ago.

I've had pain in my right side, and it seems to be linked to when I have caffiene (coffee on an empty stomach in the morning), or something more intestinal. I'm not on my period, so it's not that. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. It's happened more than once. Thanks.

I sliced my fingertip open while cutting onions six days ago.It hurt,and bleed an awful lot,but the bleeding stopped the same night.I've been using bandages on it,but it continues to hurt all the time.I know it's too late for stitches now,but should I see a doctor for it anyway?
