Go see a different doctor. My sister messed up her knee a while back and it was treated as nothing. She then got into high school sports and had to have surgery to remove scar tissue that was preventing her from being able to play sports. It could be something that'll turn into a nightmare later if not taken care of now.

Tylenol is in fact an antipyretic not an anti inflammatory so disregard that answer.Try ice for 20 minutes on then heat for 20 minutes every day at least twice a day.Ibuprofen or Aleve are anti inflammatory so they'll help more that aspirin or Tylenol in the long run.Tylenol will just mask the pain that you're feeling increasing the likelihood of making the injury worse. If the pain continues it would be best to get an MRI because most tissue injuries will not show up on an X-ray.If your doctor did not recommend an MRI it is unlikely that he could be sure that there's nothing wrong. This procedure is very expensive but non invasive.Best to make sure that you don't have ACL damage or some similar problem that will only get worse over time.

If the doctor says your knee is fine, your knee is fine. You may have just hyperextended it. This takes a couple days to go away. Ice and some pain meds will make the pain go away. Also try icyhot. Remember that the doctor has spent a portion of his life learning how to treat people, so he is probably right although it still hurts. I'm sorry for your pain and get well soon. God Bless!

It is not uncommon to have displacement of the cartilage in the knee. It is usually a simple procedure to reduce it to the proper position.. Something your doctor didn't check. Is simple to diagnose if there is tenderness on either the inner or outer aspect of the joint. mAs well as noting a diffential in the lower bone in relation to the upper. It would appear to be moved inward.

I had a similar problem except I didn't go to the doctors cause well they creep me out. I used cold packs and hot packs, I just iced it for 20 and then put the hot pack on it for 20 until it felt better. If you dont want to do that, use some icyhot. And use some tylenol or ibuprofen!! Hope ya feel better!!

Go to your nearest pharmaceutical store and buy a knee brace or splint and wear it for a few days along with taking some pain killer, if it still is hurting then try another doctor.

600-800 milligrams of Ibuprofen and some ice. Plus rest it for a bit and you should be ok.
