It may sound like a myth, but my dad had warm milk and toast before bedtime. He was raised this way and says it was a very common thing in families in his day.

Well if it doesn't then a lot of babies and adults have been drinking it under the wrong perception. It seems to have effect on most people that helps them sleep.

It would depend on each individual. We are all different. It might work for you and then again it might not. It surely isn't working for me because I'm up at 1:05am and answering questions.

I eat Ice Cream before I go to bed. I think sometimes it help.
