I have encountered this odor which has a similarity to maybe,.. baby vomit,..(dont laugh its true.) on one occassion. It has lead to a previous question on yahoo answers but now I want to know why that smell exists. I understand it maybe the reaction between sexual partners and or can result from poor hygeine on the males part but I want some informed answers. Are there any health experts out there,..gynocologists (yeah, I can hear all you guys already). Really,.. I would appreciate the input from proffessionals on this.

Children are being punished (detention) for going to the bathroom during class. They have three minutes to get to each class in time or they get detention for being late. I feel that this is wrong that students are being punished for having normal bodily functions and that this is physically and mentally harmful to the children.

I have had a lot of problems in the past with my mental health, but I have always been interested in becoming an EMT. I am very sensitive, and I have OCD and Borderline personality Disorder, and anxiety. My lifelong dream has been to be a nurse, but now it is an EMT? Is anyone here an EMT? Is it hard work? Does it come naturally, after you learn the practice of what you have to do?

I am so tired of it. I understand that I do it to the extreme (in one case, the nail only reaches about 1/3 of the way to the top of my finger) however I am very hygienic and wash my hands often (especially before biting). To be honest, they are so short there isn't much room for dirt to accumulate anyway. I am very healthy, my teeth are perfect, I have not had even a common cold in 3 years and have never been seriously sick (I have been biting my nails my whole life - I'm 22). I am a professional pianist, and others in my faculty at University tell me that it is why my fingers are so short. But to me that is something I can work around.

I don't care about the look of nails on others or myself and since I do not bother them about habits of theirs that are probably worse (smoking, for example) I want to them to leave me in peace to do what I enjoy.

What can I say to make them stop bothering me?

Every night, just as I start to dream, maybe 10 minutes or so after closing my eyes, I'm awakened, just as if someone had slammed a door in my room, tho there is no sound or actual disturbance, I'm just jolted back awake. This happens at least three times every night. After at least three times, I go to sleep as usual and sleep undisturbed. This started happening about six months ago and I can count on it happening every night! It really scared me at first, but I've learned to expect it now. Just wondering what the cause might be, or if anyone else experiences this?

This past Saturday I was driving a go-cart and it flipped over throwing my friend and I airborn. When we walked back to the house I noticed a lump on my leg the size of a baseball. Although it did not hurt terribly bad at the time and the swelling has gone down somewhat, I am sitting here wondering if there is a possibilty that I cracked the bone. There is 1 large bruise directly on the shin and a blueish grey area on the almost entire part of my shin. It hurts to put pressure on it and I can not bend my foot up. Has this happened to anyone? Basically I have banged my shin into things before pretty hard, but have never had that initial swelling and now constant pain. Please help me out as I am not one to go running into the doctor for just anything. Can I break a bone and still sort of walk?
