i had surgery three days ago and the stitches are starting to fall out is this a bad thing

that depends on what kind of stitches they used, and what kind of surgery was done. Call your Doctor and ask

most of the time if the stitches are falling out that means you are healling. they are supposed to do that. if the surgical site is or starts opening up go to the doctor ASAP. also watch for signs of infection like redness, warmth swelling or drainage. GL

If it was a minor procedure and a small incision that doesn't require a lot of holding together it should be ok. Call your doctor the nurse in the office should be able to help.

just call the dr. office that did the surgery. they can tell you over the phone. i had staples for ten days
