I used to get them all the time. I don't remember ever using any medicine for it, but I know there are some. I always used warm cloths and just kept them on the effected eye. You could also take some ibruprofen or tylenol for the pain if you wanted to.

There is an eye ointment called Stye that is available at most pharmacies. It will soothe and hopefully keep the infection from spreading. Sometimes putting warm compresses on your eye will help.

There is an old but good medication called Golden Eye ointment which relieves the pressure and discomfort the inflammation is causing. It may be known under different names in various countries. Your pharmacist should be able to trace it in the Pharmacopaea.

they always used to say rub a finger behind your ear, picking up oil from your skin and rub on the stye, i only had one once and i did this and it left but maybe it would have gone away anyway.
