It all depends. Some times cat gut is used and this dissolves on it's own. Other times non dissolving material is used and then removed when the wound is healed enough for them to be removed with out fear of the wound reopening. So it depends on the healing time of the patient.

Average 10-14 days. Until they are loose usually. Most doctors just want to see the patient back to make sure the risk of infection is gone before takin em out.

Depends on the health of the person who recieves them as well as the depth and severity of the injury. Some only 4 days and others as many as 10.

Depends on where and how deep the wound. Sometimes self dissolving sutures are used.
