Yesterday I and my 24-year-old girlfriend were in restaurant. We were talking about chewing gums. She told me that it isn't dangerous to swallow a chewing gum. When we were talking she was chewing a gum. She told me that she will swallow her gum right now and nothing will happen. She slowly took the gum back toward her throat, made a gulp and swallowed her chewing gum. Then she told me that she had already swallowed her gum and couldn't feel it anymore. She told me that swallowed gum couldn't hurt her so not to worry. Then we left the restaurant and talked about other issues. She later told me that there is nothing dangerous, she couldn't feel the gum anymore and she has no stomachache . . . She told me that it is in her stomach and then will come out and laughed. So isn't it dangerous? Is she really right?

I'm on pills for diabetes type II, cholesterol and blood pressure. I'm pre-menopause - but NOT in menopause. Cannot attribute to period fluctuations or food/drink. Any thoughts? I am calling doctor later today - but thought someone here might have potential direction for me.

I read another q/a that gave some home remedies for common aches and sicknesses, but I remember getting a forwarded email that told me Gatorade was good not for headaches, but for sore throats.

I can't find anything on the internet to justify this, any doctors or just anyone out there who can support my thinkings? My daughter doesn't want to swallow anything mixed with vinegar.

Or any other good home remedies?

It's called So Cozy Boo Conditioner. It says it protects against lice, which I always worry about with my daughter being in school. Does anyone know if it really works? Here's a link if you've never heard of it:

That is the question? Whether your preference is bathing or showering giving your reasons please. Answers of a postcard size please; any humourous and riduclous answers will be gratefully accepted, but rude and crude will go straight to the steam room for cleansing.

I am continuously feeling dizzy at work, and it is really starting to affect me, as i have to step out of the room every 5 minutes to compose my self. I dont know whether its the bright lights, computer screen, or just me panicing too much. I have some pills prescribed from the doctor (Stemetil) but they dont seem to work either. Make me feel worse if anything. Can someone help me and tell me what i can do at work, not to feel dizzy or distant, as evrything i look at, seems distant or as if iv had a few pints.

Kind Regards
Mike
