Does he have any kind of gum disease? Because if he has a gum disease that would make his breath smell horrible.

Sounds like halitosis. He needs to brush his tongue after he brushes his teeth and use Scope Mouthwash. Carry some minty gum with you and offer it to him maybe he might catch on. I don't think I could have a boyfriend with bad breath all the time. Must be tough kissing him.
