Actually only evian is safe for kids under 12 months. Not even evian knew this and I had to do a lot of research to find out that the minerals constituents in other brands are harmful for babies.
Also, after12 months baby will need all that flouride from tap water, since you cant do that straight you'd be better boiling the tap water than the mineral water. the tap water will be safe once boiled and better for baby

Yep, do boil the water. Also, bottled water is not necesarrily the best. There is a high salt content in bottled water which is not good for babies. The best solution is to boil tap water and cool that down.

Yes, if your baby is still young. It's sterile that way (bottled water is pure water, but not usually sterile - which is the point of boiling tap water)

YES what ever you do don't stop boiling your water, it sterillises the water killing any germs. babys are too weak to fight off bacteria, so keep boiling it till he/shes at least 1 1/2, by that time your child should have a strong enough emune system to fight any bacteria. you don't want your baby to end up in hospital.

yes you should sterilize it everytime. When you buying bottled water look for distilled (not spring) water, Since the
minerals in spring water could disturb the delicate balance of minerals in formula. Another option is nursery
water. Its a specially marked that's often distilled and
floride free

I would if I was you. You can't guarantee where the bottled water has come from.....some ruthless companies just bottle tap water and pass it off as something it isn't.
