It's called So Cozy Boo Conditioner. It says it protects against lice, which I always worry about with my daughter being in school. Does anyone know if it really works? Here's a link if you've never heard of it:

Hey BWJordan, did you even bother to look at the product? Apparantly not, or you wouldn't have written something so stupid. It's not lice shampoo, it's actually a leave in conditioner. It says it has tea tree oil which is a natrual repellant of lice and is not harmful to kids. Of course I would never do anything to harm my child, you self-riteous, judgemental dumbass. Go f*ck yourself, or better yet, next time make sure you understand the question before you post a stupid reply.

Well, I agree that giving them the shampoo just because they're in school might be over-reacting, but that's no reason to hassle you about it.

Why not talk to the school nurse about it? She can help you put your concerns into perspective; and if there really is a risk of contracting body lice at the school, she's better informed to recommend a preventative shampoo than any of us on this crazy BBS are.

When in doubt, see a pro. In this case, it's that school nurse. And don't worry about over-reacting. It's human nature when you're trying to protect someone and you don't know what's going on at that school.

You're going to give your child lice shampoo just because they are in school?

When they are teens, are you going to put condoms on them before they leave the house? Or give them Antabuse so they will throw up if they drink alcohol?

How long are you planning on giving them the shampoo? If you stop, they might get lice, after all. And then, oh no, they might have to use lice shampoo for a few days (the treatment for lice). I'd hate if they had to use lice shampoo for a few days. That would be aweful. You better give them that lice shampoo every day so that they can avoid having to use lice shampoo for a few days. Wait a minute...
