Has anyone ever bruised ribs before?? I can't find a comfortable position to sleep in. I bruised four or five ribs on my left side playing volleyball and I can't get comfortable. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

When you were a child, did you ever take a nine volt battery and stick it to your tounge? If you did, do you remember the tingling sensation that happened? Well, that's what this tingling sensation that starts in my neck and goes up to the top of my head feels like. This sensation only last a couple of seconds but it happens several times a day. It's been going on for a few years now. I've talked to my doctor about this many times but he always avoids the subject. He never gives me any clue as to what could cause this. Any help would really be appreciated.

I stepped on a piece of glass at the beach earlier today. It was so sharp, it went right through my tennis shoe & punctured my foot.
The wound bled heavily at first, but by the time I got home & took my shoes & socks off, it was a tiny little dot of a wound with no bleeding. I cleaned it and put a bandaid on.
My friend thinks I should get a tetanus shot. I can't recall the last time I had a booster, but I am terrified if I go in I will have to get the shot where they give you a bunch of shots in your stomach. Do doctor's still do that for tetanus? I'd love it if a medical professional could tell me what to expect...

There really is nothing to be THAT stressed about...if I could just relax and get some proper rest, I think that would be a start. I just got back from the hospital because I hurt my ankel.It was slit open pretty deep that the doctor could stick his hole finger in it.Puke!I had to get two stitches on the inside and seven on the outside.I have it wrapped up and it hurts real bad.Can someone cheer me up?

ok usely when i sit or lay down for a while like a hour or so or when i got to sleep i will either wake up or get up and my sides of my pelvis bones are so sore my mom said if it gets any worse or stays that way she will take me to the doctor ! They've been like this constantly for a few weeks now, dont think my weight, smoking and the heat does anything to help, but I'm really uncomfortable right now. My left foot looks like its gonna explode.. I know its fluid cause I've done the finger pressure test. Ive tried putting my feet up and it doesnt help. Any advice? Thanks

I broke my arm, wrist and hand in a motorbike accident 7 months ago. I have absolutely no strength at all in the fingers of that hand, and it is still very painful. My GP says its nothing, but why does "nothing" hurt so much??? It is so bad I have had to have all the lefthand cotrols on my bike moved onto the right side as I cannot use the hand. Help.

I asked and really didn't get too many answers. My parents got away with not imunizing me. Now I am 15 and about to start high school in the fall. I have to have all my shots before I can start. What I wanna know is:
1. How many dr. visits will I have to go to for shots.
2. How many shots might I get each visit.
3. Will they hurt much.
4. Do they hurt more if I get more than one shot at a time?
