I have been having sex with my partner for around 5 months now and before her, I was a virgin. She says she gets tested every year for STD/STI's and does not have any but last week, I noticed what look like one or two small red little bumps on my penis (right under the head) and I thought they would go away. It is still red in this area and I put neosporin on it lightly and it is irritating it somewhat when I urinate.

My question is: Is it possible that I had an STD even though I was a virgin before my partner and she says

I developed warts and went to the doctor who told me about HPV. Before these two years with this partner, I was without sexual activity for two or three years. Could it be possible that a previous partner could have infected me more than five years ago. I have not seen any wart in my actual partner. All these symptoms began after our relation.

NO! And please don't give your infants vaccines! Breast feed them for a year or more instead and they'll have all of the antibodies they''ll ever need! Vaccines are a scam!

I have a friend who has been HIV positive for 6 years. When she confided in me i was extremely supportive. My issue right now is that from then until now, she still has sex with a lot of men. She does not seem to be concerned with them catching the horrific disease. Every week she is telling about some guy she just had sex with, although she claims the sex is protected i feel as if nothing is ever 100%. I think she is in denial after all of these years. How do i explain to her that this is not right and she should not be having sex as often as she is with these men.

I have had "Herpes I" in the form of cold sores on my mouth.
My partner contracted "Herpes I" gentially when receiving oral sex from someone with a cold sore.
My question is, can I recontract Herpes I from my partner genitally, or am I already immune in that I already have the virus orally.
Please respond only if you have medical experience.

We've been only with each other -- no one else. We are clean from our annual visit to the Dr.'s office.

I'm 28 and know I already have at least one type of HPV, however would like to be protected against types I may not have.

I asked my uncle, a pharmacist, this question and he said I shouldn't worry about it because I've probably already been exposed to the types of the virus covered and fought them off, causing immunity to them. He said that that's why it isn't really pushed (or so far approved) for women over 26.

Personally, I don't see why not. The CDC says I may not get the full benefit, but can benefit and there's no way to know.

my boyfriend and i are close and stuff, so one time we starting messing around and like touching each other and stuff..well for one thing, is that considered sex? because it was just his hand. and also, is there a way for me to get an STD from that, like if his hands weren't clean or something? because i really don`t want to have to explain that to my parents.

Can someone answer me,please?

Two years ago i was walking with a friend of mine who has a son(at the time 2 years old)and while we were talking he found a syringe with a nedle and when i saw him i tried to remove it from his hand and i am afraid that while i was doing this the nedle penetrated into my skin, exactly in the palm of my hand. There was no blood but i had the feeling that the nedle penetrated my skin.I have never had sex(i am 20 but it is not strange in the culture of my country to be virgin at this age), or made use of drugs, and i am getting crazy when i think that i may have contracted Aids.I have suffered from thrush of the mouth since i was 14 but in these two years it also happened to me to have mouth herpes(small ones occurring rarely) i have got flu one time each year, but now i cought a cold and i am having coughs and sneezing and headache.I refused to go out with the guy i like because i am afraid, i may have Aids, i have a job interview but they are going to make me a medical clearance prior to employement.I have not had symptoms such as rushes, fever or diarrea, but my tongue looks strange ,it is coated with patches, fissures and some times with some white lines on both sides, can this be hairy leukoplakia.Twice i had sweats before menstuations i think, but my friend at the medicine faculty says that this time i cought a cold very easily.Aids is not frequent in my country and i think that the syringe was there a day before i touched it,but still i am really getting crazy. How long can the virus of Aids survive in the nedle of the syringe.I am afraid to lose the guy i love and the best job i could ever have, and above all the idea people have of me.Please if a doctor sees this..help me!Sorry for my english, i am a foreigner.Please,please,please...

Ok so I have started talking to this girl...Since we have been talking I found out that she slept with a guy last summer who apparently has just been let out of jail cause he is dying from AIDS. Admittedly she was in a bad and weak-minded state in her life or she would have never even been in that situation with him. Well she just found out about this, but she has had 3 HIV tests, the most recent being this past week and all 3 have been negative. So it has been about 9 months. My only concern is with all the questioning as to whether HIV is actually the cause of AIDS now, can you be sure that an HIV negative test assures you from contracting anything that could turn into the AIDS virus? Basically by sleeping with her is there a guarantee that a person would never contract AIDS since those HIV tests were negative?? Hmmm, what to do...
