The Green Monkey in Africa. Many tribes over there eat the monkey and they figure that's who it made the jump from monkey to humans

Started in Africa. Someone got it from monkeys or apes. This is what I've heard for a very long time... I don't even want to know how they got it from monkeys or apes though.

AIDS did not start in Africa it started in Europe and spread through Africa by way of European colonization, just like small pox and the Native Americans.
