if one of you passes on a STD then someone has lied abuot being with someone else. Some STD's linger and don't show up for awhile. For instance genetal herpes. A person may have it and never have symptoms yet pass it on to partners.
One out of four people have herpes and don't know it.
That is actually a great deal of people.

STD's are only passed via sex

Actually there is only one way it is possible if it is something that was there before the two of you got together and overlooked or no test was done for that perticular thing. There are some tests for std's you have to specifically ask for to have them test you for it.so that being said.
You could have had all the standard "std"s checked by not all of them and there is a lot more out there then most are aware of.So either one of you could have it all along and it wasn;t tested for or you had no symtoms to test for it.Lots of "std"'s can go untreated because you may not know you have them because you don't have symtoms. consider that before you point fingers and think someone was cheating.I would make yourself aware of the other things to get tested for.ask your doctor he/she will tell you what I just told you.Often more times then not more women would go untreated for an "std"by she didnt show any symtoms to get checked for anything. Also sometimes men can go untreated without having any symtoms as well.more women then men usualy. Also another thing to consider a Condom will not protect you from everything there are some "std"s you can still get even if your partner wears a condom!

You say you are clean. There are so many STD's. Are you concerned with on in particular. I'm a nurse and worked at a college medical clinic. We had students come in all the time and ask to be tested for "every STD" It simply is not possible. It would cost thousands of dollars. We would test them for the more popular ones and tell them to return if they became symptomatic. Some diseases can lay dormant for years. Are you symptomatic? Worried about anything in particular?

No its not possible if both people are clean and have only been with each other.

Thats like saying can i get the flue from some one who dose not have the flue.

In order to get a virus like an STD it has to be passed on to you from some one who has it.

There are other ways to spread STD's like with oral sex anal sex and simply "rubbing" genitals together. Also blood products can contain disease that are classified as STDs along with piercing and tattoos. These methods need to be considered as well. If none of these have happend then no you both can not just randomly get an std

Not unless of you had previously contracted something like herpes, which can live dormant in your nervous system. Then, under certain conditons (such as stress) it can come back out an then you could contract an STD from your long term partner.

If both of you are faithful to each other then there wouldn't be a risk of contracting an STD.
HIV/AIDS can be spread through contact with bodily fluids, like a wound or by a blood tranfusion.

If you are both clean and faithful to each other, there is no risk.

Keep it that way, huh? There is too much transmission of STDs from careless sex.

no, it shouldn't be. Unless one of you has had a blood transfusion or something and there is HIV in your systems. You should be safe if neither of you have been sexually intimate with another person.
