the comments that people have left stating that hiv can lay dormet for 10 yrs is partially not true.... if a person has been infected by hiv it WILL show up in a blood test within 14 - 16 weeks after contraction. Hiv can lay dormet for 10 yrs , what that means is you could go up for ten years without treatment and not show any symptoms... But it is untrue that a person can live with hiv for 10 yrs and not have it show in their blood. If it has been 9 months since she was sexually active with this man and her 3 tests were negative , then she is infact HIV negative. If you are still concerned the only thing you can do is stay absitant from her or wear a condom

from what i have been told ( not by a doctor). is that it is easier for a man to give aids to a woman then it is for a woman to give it to a man.. not that women cant give it to a man.. but i do know it can take up to 10yrs for a positive hiv test to show..if she slept with some one who was infected with aids then more than likely she has hiv atleast.. i have never heard of them letting a person out of prision because of aids.. or because he was dying of them..do a bit of research on the justice system.. if your in jail and dying ..well you would die there unless your time came up and you got parolled.. better yet go over to the police section of y/a and ask if any cops heard of you getting out because of this

Is it really that hard for you to find someone else to sleep with? I mean, she's going to worry about AIDS for the rest of her life, does that make you horny? She could have HIV and not know just yet, the testing will go on for the rest of her life. Sleeping with her would be a lifetime commitment cos if you caught anything from her and passed it on, that would be awful. Keep it in your pants, find someone else to date, or else, plan on staying together for the rest of your lives. She's not the smartest person in the world, and apparently you're not that much smarter.

You need to use protection any time you have sex. However condoms are not always foul proff. They can break. To answer your questions, it can take years for the virus to show up. Meaning a person can be walkng around not showing any symptoms or come up negative three times on their blood tests and still have the virus in their system. Its not worth risking your life over. If you have sex always use protection or dont do it at all.

Hiv has been studied and can lay dorminant for 10 plus years. Just because she is negative now does not mean she will never test postive. I advise you to protect yourself and research the disease. You and your partner need to discuss this issue in depth if you plan on continuing this realationship. Use a procetive mechanism when having ***.

HIV causes AIDs...yes. Definitely.
Get some more tests before you two begin sleeping, and even then use a condom.

yes Hiv is aids. so you should be very careful while having sex, or choose a very safe contraceptive which is abstinence. why would you want to risk giveing someone you love this deadly disease? which is non curable, according to the GOV.
