I have these hickeys, but I also have short hair. My mom will notice if I start wearing colars and turtlenecks. What is a good way to make them go away faster?

I have a patch of skin between my breasts that is dark colored. I think it looks like dirt, but it absolutely isn't because I wash so often. Nothing I do makes this patch go away or get lighter. It is embarrassing, I look like I don't bathe. So I wear tops that don't show any cleavage as often as I can. Is this a disease or a rash? It doesn't feel like anything. I am hispanic, is there a skin condition that's inherited or what?

We think it might be bacteria peeling off and his tongue might not be actually peeling.

I went to the dermatologist today to get some advice on a skin problem I've been having and he noticed a mole on my back. He said it's "changing" (how he would know that it's changing when this was the first time I've seen him.. I dunno.) and that I should get it removed and scheduled me to get it removed next week. Now this is a mark I've had since I was little and my mom says she's been keeping an eye on it. Skin cancer does run in my family, however but I've seen nothing wrong with this mole. On the other hand, I have always been self conscious of it (like in swimsuits and such) and this would be my opportunity to get it removed and have it be covered by insurance. It would be painful though and I'm not sure it's worth a scar (though the mole is pretty big). It's just that the dermatologist may have been in practice for 30 something years but my mom says he has a reputation for "cutting people." I'm not sure if i wanna go under the knife but I'm so self-conscious. I'm in a pickle.

I am going to the doctors tomorrow because I have flat but a little lumpy dots on my cleavage and I've had it for months now. My mom is coming in the room with me and it is really embarrassing!!!

I've had it for a good 8 years...if not more!! It's just the one and I've tried many different treatments...Other than my doctor, what else can I do? It's pretty much dead, completely white and dead skin! Not nice! It has REALLY annoyed me because I think they are horrible.

I've heard that covering it in duck tape for ages works?

i have been on this skin routine for about 4 days now, where i drink lots of water, drink no milk, eat kiwi's and do other such things to try to get rid of my acne. it doesn't seem to be working though, should i allow longer for it to potentially work? or does this sort of stuff never work ?

Also i want to know, could the way i see my spots my somewhat physcological, i.e. i think its worse than it really is ?

i have developed eczema/atopic dermititus within the last 6 months. this entire time i have been trying to figure out what has caused this after 28 years of my skin being normal. i have read to avoid sweating when you have eczema. do you think that excessive sweating could have actually caused eczema? i have been working out for a few years (mostly walking fast-pace on the treadmill) but in the last 9 months i have stepped up my work out and have been perspiring alot...i'm just so stumped as to what caused it and its so frustrating...

I have a keloid scar; it developed after my industrial piercing got a knock, and has now swelled hugely. Had to take piercing out, but still no smaller :( Has anybody had any luck with keloids? What did you do to treat them, i'm very nervous of it growing even more.

Currently applying hot salt washes and about to start with hydrocortisone cream.. I was told to avoid tea tree

I also plan to work any good answer into some kind of research.. there's not enough on the topic.. can I give u an email for the long story?

i've been using proactiv for a month and a half now but my acne problem doesn't seem to improve. There might be a difference but i barely notice it. Should i just bear with it and wait patiently? I'm afraid to stop using it because i read that when you stop using pro activ suddenly, you tend to break out. Help!

I have a spot on my lower abdomin, it is a raised spot that looks like a puss pocket white and purple with the surrounding area that is red. It is not hard but soft and tender to the touch, and also feels warm. I'm wondering if it could be a spider bite, shingles or flesh eating virus or bacteria.
Does anyone know of a site that might have pictures of these conditions that I might be able to compare it to? Thanks

i've always been this way. when i was little and took baths, after i got out my hands would itch extremely. i would take a brush and rub my hands. and now i've been polishing petoskey stones in which your hands have to be wet, and my hands are itching like crazy!!! why would water make your hands itch? its like their hot and really itchy.
