Boils usually form when your hair follicals become infected with staph bacteria. It can happen from a cut or scratch in your skin. Make sure NOT to store your razor in the shower, and because you are more prone to get boils, you have to change blades sooner than the average person. Many boils take 10 to 25 days to heal. Place a hot and wet towel on it a few times a day to promote faster healing, and don't drain them yourself. Best of luck to you. If you continue to get these boils, you could have Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Usually antibiotics don't work.

dHas the doctor told you that its MRSA? MRSA is a "super germ" that is resistant to many antibiotics and it looks like a boil. It colonizes in your mucous membranes in your nose.. so not only is it treated with usually 2 antibiotics but the doctor should also order an antibiotic cream called " bactroban" that you put on a q-tip and swab in your nose. Ask the doctor if this is MRSA because its a very contagious germ and must be treated properly. Good luck.

If doctors and surgeons have examined you, then a lot is known about your condition already. Try nutritional therapy and reducing stress. Also consider moving to an area with good public water and clean air.
You might also try drinking and cooking with steam distilled water delivered in glass bottles.

Usually the best thing you can do is eat a very very high quality diet and let your body have a chance to heal itself.

Eat all the fruits and veggies you can get down, fresh, organic, raw (if possible) no meats, no dairy. nothing white, Supplement with Omega 3 and B12.
