I've had it for a good 8 years...if not more!! It's just the one and I've tried many different treatments...Other than my doctor, what else can I do? It's pretty much dead, completely white and dead skin! Not nice! It has REALLY annoyed me because I think they are horrible.

I've heard that covering it in duck tape for ages works?

I've gone for normal parcel tape but wrapped it around my foot (the things you have to do eh?!) I've also used scissors and cut DEEP into it to get most out.

you sound just like me, I'm using duct tape on my stubborn Verruca I've had for years, my nurse tried freezing it over several months that didn't work and was alot of pain for nothing, then I had a minor operation done on it by my doctor, who dug at it with blades and then tried scorching the roots, I was off my foot for two weeks, and it was painful and low and behold the Verruca came back after all that,my lady doctor has now run out of things to suggest but looking on the Internet I noticed people suggest duct/insulation tape which I'm now using after getting some at my local DIY store, its currently got rid of half of it but worringingly it seems very resistant and half remains, but I shall not give up, hee hee, damn the school showers when I was younger, must of picked it up there as I don't go swimming or go about bare foot! Urgh!!!!!!!!!!!

If you cover the verruca with a plaster and leave it on the moisture will cause the verruca to "drop" off. You have to keep the plaster on if it comes off then re-apply another. It depends on how deep the roots are but persevere.....

Nitrogen freezing is probably the most successful technique, most GPs provide that service.
