Skin Conditions - November 2007

I recently have started to breaking out big time. I'm 28, I thought this was behind me. I have tried many things, including my latest, Zapzyt. It has not lived up to what it promised, not sure if I need to continue it longer to see results. I just need something that actually works to clear up a pimple. I know that nothing works overnight, but I would like something that eliminates the zits in a 3 or 4 days. I appreciated your help.

Yeah so I have some acne...anyone want to give me some good products or good at home treatments for acne? Its not really that severe but it makes me look bad. Please dont respond saying stuff like stress and crap...just give me some products that actually work!! thank you

I'm a 17 year old senior and I've had cystic acne since my frist year of highschool and I still have it as a senior. I've tried everything from proactive, antibiotics to accutane which I currently am on now for the second time. I will start my 3rd month of accutane in two weeks at 40mg a day. Just wondering when is it going to be gone...its killing my self esteem

What have you used with the highest success rate? And what do you use to prevent or treat? Thanks! I use clean and clear regular astrigent. It seems to help up until my period and I always get a few pimples.

for like about a week already I noticed I have rosey cheeks and I normally have a pale complexion. It's not from the cold cuz it happens even indoors. I am also not embarrassed for 7 days straight and have not stood on my head recently. My cheeks are warm when I touch them and I dont feel like I have a fever. WebMD doesnt list my symptoms on the site. What in the world is this????

I will be 29 next month and I am starting to be concerned about aging flawlessly. Anyway, I just wanted to know if coffee or caffeine will age my skin faster than normal. I drink one cup a day.

its a dark redish color and rough to the touch (feels like a thick layer of dead skin sorta). it looks really bad on my left hand near the last two fingers and the rest of my knuckles have the same thing but it doesnt look as bad, ive tried using some lotion but it doesnt help moisturize it at all..........i was just wandering if anyone knows what this is.

p.s my gf had sorta the same thing on her knuckles as well but it wasnt really red just ashy lookin and lotion didnt help her hands either

I noticed that my ears itch whenever the humidity in the air is high, or soon after I take a shower, or when I go for a swim. They also itch when the climate get a little cooler. So I suspect that I have a fungal infection in my ear. I have gone for numerous checks, but all the ENTs I have been to say that there is nothing in the ear that they can find, and just tell me that it will subside. But it never does. I have been having this problem since almost 2 years now. I don't know what I should do. Can anyone help me?

I have these soft purple bumps on the inside of my thigh. They are a little less than a half inch in diameter. When they first appear, they look like they have a white center or a head. When I try to pop it, nothing comes out. The center is now black. They end up going away. I also get them on the sides of my torso. They are definitely not zits. Also, they can not be an STD because I am not sexually active.

My son was complaining tonight about his knee itching. When I looked, I saw about 16 small bumps around his knee, most prominent on the side. They look like mini mosquito bites. Upon further inspection, I see that he has these bumps all over his body - some on his back, a few on his stomach, some on his chest... Some are grouped, and some aren't. What could it be? My first thought was flea bites, but I can't find a single flea in the house. Any ideas?

I have it on my scalp and now it is spreading onto my face. Any suggestions on how to stop this? Can the dr. prescribe anything for me? I don't want to apply that cortisone stuff on my skin because it is pretty strong.

I have dark skin on the back of my neck, underarms, most creases. I scrubbed cause I thought it was dirty....but it doesn't go away. I put lotion cause I thought it was dry, it got a liitle better but is still there. Im not diabetic, I checked. Does anyone know what this could be and how I can get rid of it?
