Let it be. The more you pull the skin around the heel, the more you get wounds. Wear socks. it becomes a physiacl barrier between your fingers and poor heels.

Put lots of cream,
Drink Vit B complex for stress.
And stop being stressed out.

The way to relieve the condition is to file down the hard skin and rub a moisturising cream into the heels and feet three or four times a day. (Lanolin - sheep's wool fat - is very good, but it has an odour and is very greasy). Keep them covered with socks, or the equivalent, during the day. File down the hard skin at about weekly intervals, or when you find it is necessary, and keep up the treatment until the heels have returned to their previous good condition. When the condition has resolved, be sure to keep moisturising your feet and heels daily.

Hope this helps

Honestly, I used to have this problem big time until I started using a loofa sponge to wash with. Dove body wash and my loofa have my feet looking at least presentable again. Then if you still have cracks in your heels, use a little lotion like Eucerin, but be careful because if you go barefoot most of the time like me, it can be very slippery even if you are careful about removing the excess. I also never wear any socks but ones with a high cotton content.

I have this too. I use a little sandpaper like thing I got a Wal Mart to file away the worst of it. Then, there is a cream you can put on it, especially for this, but you can also use any lotion. It helps to do this every night before bed, and make sure you dry your feet off really well after a shower. Sometimes, a pedicure , even just one, can help. But the foot file and a pumice stone help too.
Good luck, I know this is embarrassing and sometimes painful

It happens to me whenever I use a plastic slipper or a shoe that that does not fit me well. Try also to experiment on your slippers and shoes which of them makes your heels crack... Lotion is effective if you apply it at bedtime with a massage. our feet is ussually taken for granted and some people don't know this is the most tired part of our body. Aloe vera products is effective, but dont try just picking some on the ground because it might be a different species.

Before going to bed, apply a generous amount of lotion on your heels. The inexpensive brands will do. Then put on some cotton socks then go to sleep. In the morning, your heels will feel soft and moisturized.

as far as lotion, find some BAG BALM (it is sold near the lotions, aveena, etc at most drug stores. It comes in a little tin- like a candle) or UDDERLY SMOOTH (yes, like a cow) and do the trick with the socks.
