There's an ingredient in some toothpastes that can cause mouth sores and other irritations in some people, but probably not general acne all over your face. If you want to see if toothpaste is a problem for you, try switching for a while to an all-natural toothpaste like Tom's.

I have never heard or read that toothpaste can cause acne and I am a doctor. next time when you ask a question it is better to mention how old you are and whether you always had acne or it suddenly got worse. If you are young and suffering from acne Laser might help.....over the last few years photo therapy and IPL can help treatment of acne in conjunction to other medical treatments. I suggest you increase the level of vit A in your diet too.

No. Stressing out about toothpaste could possibly give you acne. Honestly, some people will use toothpaste to treat white
heads and or small spot acne.

he told me that it might be the toothpaste and that he should try to change it. so he did and since now he has no problem.
