Not all acne just goes away, but there are measures you can take to prevent and help cure it.

First of all, wash your face at night and try not to touch your chin. Hands carry so much bacteria! This includes resting your chin on your hand and, obviously, popping those pimples.

Use something to help dry up the area, like Clean and Clear gel. I find this works for me fairly well.

Try to not be stressed out too much if at all possible, and be sure to wear oil-free makeup. Consult a physician or dermatologist if necessary.

Sometimes, those wonderful hair folicles get plugged up, and the result is a pimple/redness/ irritation. Do you have redness , - bumps that hurt, - they never come to a head ?? These are cysts. You would need Tetracycline for these.
A dermatologist can do treatments and prescribe 2 products: a cream (one is called Retin-A) which slowly burns off the very top layer of skin, - and then a liquid antibiotic to kill the bacteria. I just started it again after 20 years (I'm 55) and my skin has shed the bumps, whiteheads etc. Stay away from Accutane.
Good luck!

If your a teenager, there's not a lot you can do. It's a hormonal thing and you'll just have to wait it out. I was told just Friday night and acne in the chin area is all hormomal, but some acne is actually blood related.

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.

In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

to remove all sort of skin problems and to have a healthy skin and look you need to spend some time on them so my suggestion would me..

every weekends please do the following..

1)boil water and then when done, put in some tulsi [Latin names: Ocimum sanctum, english Name: Holy Basil
Sanskrit / Indian Names: Tulasi, Vishnu priya], if you dont have it then fine dont put anything in to the boiling water, and do the steaming for atleast 15 min or till th steam is over...

2) when done use an exfoilator [eg, everyouth face exfoilator] with moistener preferably, and exfoilate your face to remove your dead cells , also use it to exfoilate your lips too gentaly..

3) when done make home face pack .....[eg: mix Gram Flour (indian name :besan powder) with water and make a face pack bacter, if you have a dry skin mix Gram Flour with milk]
and apply it on the face and stay till it dries...

4) then wash off and there you have an awesome silky soft face.....

also daily usable tips:
1) never use a soap on your face use Gram Flour( indian name:besan powder) instead of soap, it can even take of the make up exactly like soap.... soap takes away all the moisture in your skin and makes it dry and old..

2) always apply Aloe Vera gel on your face twice a day.....

3) on your body it would be better if you use soaps like Medimix or Dove..... avoid strong soaps, they steal your body moisturisers and vreats wrinkles fast...

it shows results within a week.....do this every week and you can see how your skin radiants and you would forget what pimples are....
