Skin Conditions - May 2007

My friend recommended baby oil instead of sunblock in order to accomplish our mission of getting a great summer tan. I know I am a total idiot for listening to her, but now I am covered head to toe with excruciating 2nd degree sunburn over my entire body, save for the small areas where my teeny tiny two piece bathing suite covered. Any suggestions BESIDE Aloe vera or bactine?

i have horible dandruff all over my head. if i just scratch my head, dry skin falls out.

I've had them for a few days now and it isn't possible for us to get a doctors appt. for a few more days but they are really unattractive not to mention itchy. I haven't worn any new clothes, eaten any unusual or new foods and we haven't switched our detergent in years. They are not flea bites and they are ONLY on my torso. There are about 20 in all ranging from below my breasts to my hips.


What is wrong with me? And how do i make it go away because it's sooo ugly in a bathing suit.

Usually when I get an antibotic (which isn't very often) it is for 10 days. Everyone else I know gets it for 10 days. I'm not sure about this doctor anyways. He put dirty things back in his drawer. I'm suppost to go back in 10 days for him to relook at my boil but I'm going to switch doctors. Should I be conserned that he only gave me 10 days of this med?

Apologies if i spelt it wrong, but i have extremely large ... and i mean huge lumps appearing all over my head ... my Doctor told me they were sebacious cysts. Their are about four in my ear lobe, currently small but seem to grow randomly, there are, from what i can feel, fou "dormant" on my foorehead and one huge one and there is one "dormant" on my chin and on huge one. They only occur in the facial area and are very VERY unsightly.

Can anyone tell me what is going on, i know is something to do with hair follicles (see wikipedia - they also have images of the things i have....) but i cant find an explanation as to what to do in simple terms.

If anyone could translate how to resolve them simply or tel me simply what to do, it would be much appreciated.

I went to the doctor about 5 years ago and see noticed this bump on my arm and asked me what it was. I told her it was actually one of the things I wanted to ask her. Then she told me it was a viral zit and she popped it for me. The pus came out off grainy. Well anyways for the last 5 years I have been popping this zit and it keeps coming back. It is to the point now that I can't get all the pus out. Does anyone know what this might be? I'm eventually going to make it to a doctor but just want to know sooner.

please tell me the right way and some proper way to get away the oil that dried on my face, because after i wash my face with the acne bar, the oil on my face only absorbs the water, it dries awhile and then it comes to be oily on my face again, how will I ever get away the oil residue on my face, please help me because it causes my face to have more acne....

First of all I want to mention that I already talked to a doctor about this, so you know what he did? gave me some kind of pills to take, then after i took the pills i was suppost to work up a sweat and not shower for 5-6 hours....It didnt work
So anyways I dont trust doctors anymore, i would rather have y'alls advice
I have had them for a while now. They sometimes itch and get irritated. I've noticed that the spots get more noticable and irritated in hot weather especially. They are ONLY on the back of my neck.

A few days ago my face suffered a pretty bad burn from a flash fire. I lost a lot of my bangs, hair around side of my face most of my eyebrows and really shortened my eyelashes. My face took a direct blast of fire. I by the grace of God, sustained superficial burns. They hurt very bad but it could have been much worse! Anyway, my left eye has about 6 black lines around it. (About an inch from eye) It looks like my mascara or eyelashes were burned into my skin or if maybe some makeup just got rubbed in there. I have washed it with genle soap, and used a q-tip to gently wipe the marks with sensitive skin makeup remover and nothing works! My left eye looks liked a striped tiger! Has anyone ever heard of makeup being burnt into skin and if so what can I do to fix it?? I have been using aloe vera on my face and silvadine cream to my hand (hand got burnt worse), but the Drs said the silvadine cream could bleach my face. Please help if you can!! Thank you.

I just noticed after school I have small red dots the size of freckles under and on my eye lid. I have read that they are broken blood vessels and they are caused by crying and will go away by tomorrow. I have not been though. What is up and will it clear up soon?

It is a round bump that looks like a huge pimple. It sits on the top of my shoulder. Every once in a while it will secrete a thick whitish brown puss.
