Shingles, are caused be your nervous system and it depends on the treatment you have for them, You need to get them to dry up and once you do that it will probably take about a week maybe less.. You could call your pharmacist and he could tell you and also recommend what you could get over the counter to dry them up. Good Luck, they can be painful.

Go to a health food store & get some L-Lysine tablets, it is an amino acid that will counteract the shingles.
